The barn is approached by a flight of external stone steps, thereafter it is on one level and newly carpeted.
Entrance is into the open-plan living room with kitchen, sitting and dining areas.
The SITTING AREA is furnished with a comfortable L-shaped sofa, coffee table, and occasional furniture, colour TV, DVD and CD player. A Velux cabrio balcony roof window gives great views of the garden.
The KITCHEN is fitted with a range of pine units incorporating electric cooker, fridge and microwave oven.
The owner offers shared use of an automatic washing machine, tumble drier and freezer space in her utility room, which is always accessible to guests.
The DINING AREA has a dining table with 4 chairs.
There are two spacious bedrooms which will be made up with fresh linen and duvets for your arrival.
BEDROOM 1 has a kingsize pine sleigh bed with freestanding hand painted wardrobe, chest of drawers, bedside tables, and a Velux cabrio window which when open creates a balcony overlooking the garden. There is also a stable door so you can lie in bed and enjoy the view! The door opens directly onto a small bridge to a large private decking area with seating overlooking the garden and with views along the valley.
BEDROOM 2 has a double bed, built in wardrobe, chest of drawers, bedside tables and Velux windows. The beds will all be made up with fresh linen and duvets for your arrival.
The SHOWER ROOM has a shower cubicle, WC and wash hand basin, dressing table and chair.

Garden and Parking
Extending to just over an acre the beautifully landscaped garden surrounds the lake, which is a haven for plant and animal life. There is seating throughout the garden, as well as a dedicated garden area for guests, with a table and chairs around an open fire pit.
There is ample parking for several cars by the barn.

Other Information
There is oil central heating throughout the cottage which is included in the rental from May to September and charged for at a flat rate of £30 per week at all other times.
A travel cot and highchair are available.
There is no smoking in the cottage.
Towels are included in the rental.
One well behaved pet is welcome but MUST BE STOCK PROOF as there are free range hens, ducks and sheep in the area.
Mobile phone reception is variable in this area.
Wifi is available by arrangement at the owners' nearby house.
